Beaumont Animal Care reduces adoption fees this weekend

The Beaumont Animal Shelter is holding a spring adoption special that continues Friday until 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Adoption fees are only $20 and include a micro-chip, spay/neuter, flea prevention, de-wormer and full vaccinations. Friday is National Rescue Dog Day and Beaumont Animal Care has an opportunity for people to adopt animals at a reduced rate.

On Friday and Saturday, adoption fees are reduced to $20, which will include the animal’s spay/neuter, microchip, first set of vaccines, flea prevention and dewormer.

The shelter is open for from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

“The shelter is over capacity with 130 animals currently in the shelter,” said adoption and marketing coordinator Viviana Lopez. “Beaumont Animal Care is looking to find loving homes for their strays in need.
